Limited Express Warranty Longton Light Alloys Inc. Gladstone Engineering Co Ltd (to be referred to as Gladstone) warrants to the original purchaser of new products only, that this product is free from materials or workmanship defects under normal use, (this 2 year warranty does not cover consumables) and all products are properly maintained for 2 years from the date of purchase as new.

Repair or replacement of the product shall Not extend the warranty period. This warranty is null and void if the product has been subject to overload, misuse, negligence, accident or if it has been repaired or altered outside of Gladstone’s authorised control in any respect., all repairs and alterations must be approved by Gladstone in writing and must only be carried out by an approved agent.

This warranty constitutes the Sole and Exclusive Warranty and Gladstone hereby disclaims all other warranties, expressed, statutory or implied, applicable to the product, including but not limited to, all implied warranties of merchantability for fitness.

The Buyer must have Gladstone’s written authorisation before returning the product, properly packaged, freight prepaid to Gladstone to obtain warranty service. Under this warranty Gladstone’s Sole Obligation shall be to repair or replace the defective product or part at Gladstone’s discretion.

Gladstone reserves the right to satisfy this warranty by reimbursing all payments made to Gladstone where upon all title shall pass to Gladstone upon acceptance of the returned product.

All products must be returned to Gladstone before credit or replacement can be given. Gladstone shall not be responsible for any work carried out on the products without the buyer first getting written permission from Gladstone.

The Buyer is solely responsible for ensuring that the goods brought from Gladstone are fit for any particular purpose and no warranty or conditions of fitness for purpose is given or is to be implied in these terms.

Gladstone shall not be responsible for any loss, injury, death or damage of any kind arising directly or indirectly by or resulting from the goods or there use by the buyer or any third party or from any services provided by Gladstone. Any statements made by Gladstone’s agents or representatives do not constitute warranties.
